The more central of the two bridged spanning the surma river,keane bridge hails from the British era and was repaired after being
damged by Pakistani bombers during the Liberation war.
History:The bridge is the sing of many history.Keane bridge was named after sir Micheal keane,
who was English governor of Assam from 1932-1937,
located on top of surma river and it is known as the gateway to sylhet.It was build in the year 1936.

How to go:It is located in sylhet town.so,anyone can easily get thereby rickshaw or cng or auto rickshaw from the sylhet town.After heading to sylhet you may take rickshaw or cng and head towards the Dak-bangla road close to shah jalal road.
